Hello! Welcome to Get Fit Rentals, I'm so glad you are here.

I'm Nicole Vandekamp, owner and passionate paddle boarder. 

In July 2016, I opened Get Fit Rentals after trying to rent a SUP for an upcoming vacation and after calling various rental shops, I was unable to rent one. When we arrived at our campground, I tried to rent a SUP at the beach and the prices were insane.  

I decided to start our rental company to provide friendly, affordable, and quality SUP rentals. 

I am so proud to be a small  business here in Edmonton, Alberta. This is also a home based business so our SUP pick up and drop off times are flexible and accommodating. 

When we opened in 2016, we had 4 paddle boards (2 inflatables and 2 hard boards) in stock. Now, we have a total of 9 inflatable and two hard SUPs available for rent and in 2020, we added inflatable kayak rentals to our fleet! I enjoy meeting many Albertans, appreciate the business, and love our customers - especially the ones I get to see year after year. I am so happy to be able to help our customers create fun memories or make that vacation extra special with a fun activity to do.

Our SUPs, Kayaks, prices, service, and location make us easily one of the best rental companies in Edmonton. We provide high performance SUPs and Kayaks and our paddles are carbon fibre which provide light swing weight, smooth strokes, and balance. All products on our rental fleet are excellent for beginners, intermediate, and advanced renters. We are proud of the equipment we provide to our renters.

My little family enjoys paddle boarding and kayaking. You will often find me, my husband and our three young daughters at the lake. My husband and I enjoy paddle boarding on the North Saskatchewan River - a fun date!
